The Ripamonti Birdie is a light and compact drilling unit ideal for foundation, civil engineering and anchoring, micropiles, water well and restoration projects. It performs best with 3” and 4” DTH hammers and hydraulic light drifters. Due to the uniquely versatile design, it can be easily dismantled into only a few light and compact pieces, allowing convenient transport even by a helicopter. Other features include;

• Dismountable power pack, which can be easily removed from the tracks.
• Sectional Drill mast, which can be detached from the rig allowing for use on scaffolds
• Extendable tracks base (760-1160 mm.)
• Hydraulic control panel with proportional directional valves for both tracks and drilling
• Two stabilising cylinders at front and one at rear
